The Owner’s Cottage

The Owner’s Unit is situated right in front of the Florida bay. It boasts 2 bedrooms, can sleep up to 2 adults and 1 to 3 kids. The main bedroom has a queen size bed; the second bedroom has a queen size loft bed and a twin bed on the ground floor. There’s also a queen pullout sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining table that seats 5 people. The unit also has air conditioning, cable TV, towels and linens, a private open porch with a gas barbeque grill. This unit also has a full kitchen built with bricks that were handmade on site. If you want to cook, this place will be ideal for you. Back in the 50’s, this fireplace was used for cooking and smoking fish. We now offer it to you with a smile, bringing the history, warmth and charm of this little slice of the Florida Keys history to your vacation.

If you would like to do any sailing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, diving, Everglades exploring, bird watching or just relaxing in a warm tropical paradise, this vacation is just what the doctor ordered. Each of our cottages comes with a FREE designated 22′ sailboat for your entire stay (sailing lessons available). No hustle and bustle and you can sail from sunrise to sunset. Also included free is usage of all our non-motorized water toys such as Rowing Dory, canoes, kayaks, smaller sailboats, adult & kid size paddle boats, snorkel/fishing gear and floating toys PLUS a Sunset cruise on our 40′ Catamaran with a water slide! This boat also seconds as your own private little island parked just 100 yards off our docks that you can swim or kayak out to and IT’S ALL FREE with your cottage rental!! But if you are not a sailor yet and want to learn, we also offer sailing lessons! Just let us know in advance so we can put your sailing lessons in the schedule!
