Creating a vibrant backdrop for your Key West experience, joyful colors from sunshine yellow, to crimson red, to myriad shades of Caribbean Blue, dial in a playful and light-hearted tone. Whether you’re relaxing inside, out on the private deck overlooking the links, or exploring the resort-style neighborhood, you’ll find many ways to enjoy the tropical lifestyle. Situated on a cul-de-sac, with views of the greens and natural salt lakes, you have only to choose from lounging by the pool, viewing unique Florida Keys wildlife, going for a jog along the pathways, and of course … playing golf.

While you are pondering this location, keep in mind that the southernmost golf and country club setting not only creates a peaceful green setting to kick-back and unwind, it offers better rental rates than Old Town. It also provides much easier access for touring the many interesting islands and beaches ‘just up’ the Florida Keys than in-town locations. Here, you’ll enjoy peace-of-mind of a 24 hour security gate, and just outside the gate, you can stroll through the unique 15 acre tract Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden. Don’t fret about not being right in Old Town Key West. There is a lot to appreciate about being 15 minutes from the bustling island center.

Interior Layout: The main entrance for Viva La Links, is from the front porch, just through the gate of the white picket fence. The front door leads directly into the spacious open-concept great room. One of the first things you’ll notice is that you can see straight through to the covered back porch, and through oversized sliding glass doors spanning the width of the back of the first floor. Sash windows bounce sunlight off bright yellow walls and provide beautiful views of the links and the green gardens outside.

Indoor-outdoor living, is one of the most enjoyble aspects of the Key West lifestyle, and the design of this townhome fulfills this order. You’ll find yourself intuitively adjusting your relaxation mode by moving from the inside sofa chaise, to the cushy couch on the deck, and back into the kitchen to get something to eat, depending on your mood. The colorful covered back porch is set to maximize comfort with an overhead ceiling fan, screened in walls, and ceiling to floor drapes that create a spa-like feel when you are relaxing outside.

The U-shape kitchen, at the front of the great-room, is fully equipped and has plenty of cabinet and food prep space. A breakfast – cocktail counter with a pass-through wall provides full view to the living room area, making it convenient to serve up coffee, toast, and margaritas. For dining, a table for six is positioned just opposite the kitchen. To complete the first floor, a washer / dryer are conveniently placed in a laundry closet underneath the staircase and fade into the décor.

A beautiful wooden staircase gently winds to the second floor, where we find the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The top landing meets an L-shape hall-way, which leads straight-away to the two guest bedrooms and the shared bathroom. A split floor-plan positions the master suite on one side of the 2nd floor, the shared bathroom in the middle, and the two guest rooms on the other.

The shared bathroom, provides a bathtub with in-tub shower. It is just at the top of the stairs and is only a few steps from each guest bedroom. Uniquely styled, this bathroom features a fanciful display of traditional blue-yellow-green Mediterranean tile art, walls painted bright Caribbean blue, and blue pottery tiles framing the bathroom mirror.

Bedroom one, immediately to the right of the stair landing, is painted a pretty shade of pink hibiscus. Floor to ceiling purple linen curtains and an adorable boudoir ceiling chandelier, give it a touch of romance. It’s a cozy room, but provides a queen size bed, closet, and a wall mounted TV. Bedroom two, is found straight back from the stair landing at the back of the house. This room goes all out for sensory impact, with walls painted a bright blue orchid color. It has a full-size closet, a wall mounted TV, and offers two twin beds that can be make up as a king size bed upon request.

Left of the top stair landing is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The suite spans the depth of the 2nd floor, with the bathroom towards the back wall. Colors are kept soft and subtle. The bathroom is papered in pink and white stripe wall paper with softer powder pink paint to match. Bedroom walls done in a dreamy periwinkle, and brightly floor length striped window curtains add a little sizzle. Furnishings include a queen size bed, full size bureau, TV, and end tables and reading lights on both bed sides.

Grounds: Back downstairs, take a moment to check out the private wooden garden deck complete with a BBQ and outdoor dining table. A screened dining canopy over the table provides instant shelter in case of a tropical cloud burst and provides protection from pests. A short walk away on the neighborhood grounds, enjoy a free form swimming pool with waterfall, and sun deck outlined with palm trees.
